MxL VISUAL PRESENTATION SOFTWARE

As the induction tool is equipped with an array of temperature sensors placed along the assembly and one or two pressure sensors, a software package is provided to convert the logged data into graphical form. The Visual Presentation Software (VPS) opens the .ZIP file downloaded from a PCU, then automatically processes it using a custom DAT file extraction program, which is written specifically to convert PCU .DAT files to delimited .TXT files. With MxlVPS2 whole process is reduced to a couple clicks of the mouse. Flow rate is also logged, as are the operating conditions at the PCU. The visual presentation software makes assessment of operations and research work straightforward and understandable. Printout capabilities are built-in to provide graphs for daily or monthly display of operating information. These graphs can be printed or directly exported to a bitmap image and sections of raw data can be printed as needed. VPS can simultaneously view all records from up to 6 individual PCUs depending upon the speed of the user’s computer. The data can be viewed in a graphed format with the option to graph any one datum set against any other. The raw data can also be viewed spreadsheet style.
